The test comprises of three parts: Reading, Mathematical Reasoning & Thinking Skills.

The Opportunity Class Thinking Skills test is crafted to analyse a student's problem solving, critical and creative thinking skills. The foundational topics include logical reasoning (~60% of questions), mathematical deduction (~25% of questions), and the remaining 15% of questions as spatial reasoning.
Thinking Skills Test Structure
Consists of 30 multiple questions with the time limit of 30 minutes.
The Opportunity Class Mathematical Reasoning component are multiple choice questions that measure your child's ability to spontaneously use their mathematical skills such as mental maths and formula re-collection to find out the answer in the quickest and most accurate way possible. Topic areas could include data interpretation, spatial awareness, measurements, number patterns, arithmetic, algebraic & geometric operations.
Mathematical Reasoning Test Structure
Consists of 35 multiple choice questions with a time limit of 40 minutes.
The Opportunity Class Reading Comprehension component are multiple choice questions that measure your child's ability to inference and interpret meaning from a passage and then problem solve to find out the answer. Reading passages could range from poems, novel extracts, cartoons and articles.

Consists of 25 multiple choice questions with a time limit of 30 minutes.
